The World Trade Center was a large complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The most iconic of these buildings were the Twin Towers, which tragically fell during the September 11 attacks in 2001. The site has since been rebuilt with a memorial and new skyscrapers, including One World Trade Center.
